Worship Services Information
We offer two worship services: 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
On on the Fifth Sunday of months with 5 Sundays (every quarter), we offer one worship service at 10:00 AM with Sunday School at 8:30 AM.
During both worship services we offer a staffed nursery for infants and toddlers and "Children's Church" for Preschoolers - 4th Grade.
We offer Sunday School Classes for all age levels, beginning at Preschool.
Sunday School meets from 9:45 - 10:45 every Sunday.
We have a large Sr. High Sunday School class.
We offer a staffed nursery for parents with infants or toddlers.
Our church currently has 420 members, or about 220 families.
Groups and extracurricular information
We have an excellent music program, beginning with Cherub Choir (Pre - K), Children's Choir (1st - 5th), Youth Choir (6th - 8th) and Sanctuary Choir (H.S. - adults). Call Marilyn Toepfer (925-5064) or Barb Gibson (925-3136) for more information.
We offer an after school program on most Tuesdays during the school year. "Kid’s Club" meets at the church on Tuesday afternoons from 3 - 4:30. Call Associate Pastor Pat Gareau (925-2011), our Director of Children's Ministries, to inquire or to enroll your K - 5th Grade child(ren).
We have a Jr. High Youth Group (UMYF) which meets on most Wednesday evenings during the school year from 7:00 - 8:15, and a Sr. High Youth Youth Group that meets on most Sunday evenings from 6 - 7:15 PM. Call Lori Hendershott (925-5314), Director of Youth Ministries, to inquire.
We have a men's group (UMM) which meets on the third Wednesday evening of each month during the school year for supper and a program. Call Bill Elliott (925-3057) for more information.
We have a women's group (UMW) which meets on the first Wednesday of each month during the school year except January. Call Mary Papenhause (925-5093) for more information.
Childcare Information
Tremont United Methodist Childcare Center offers programs for children ages 6 weeks-12 (5th grade) years of age.
We are licensed for 74 children at any given time.
We have a before and after school program and now have 53 children using this program. We offer a full day childcare with a preschool curriculum and currently have 29 children enrolled.
TUMCCC also offers half-day preschool in which there are 44 children enrolled.
The staff consists of a director, assistant director, 5 teachers, and 4 teacher aides. We currently have a waiting list for all programs offered and are always looking for teacher-qualified individuals.

We are a "mission-minded" church. We support two UM missionaries in a covenant relationship ($1,000 annually). Several of our members participate or lead community-wide service activities such as the annual Turkey Festival and/or the Tremont Lion's Club.
